The cause of all this rush was the prettiest, dimpliest little wifie you have ever seen, and she had the cutest dog, who did all kinds of tricks. The, only thing that marred their happiness was the fact that their Landlord was their next door neighbor. Mrs. Landlord was a domineering factor in the whole house. Her poor husband and cat had to shimmy the way she jazzed. The Newlyweds' dog and the Landlords' cat were friendly enemies. The dog chases the cat into Mrs. Newlywed's apartment, and the poor cat seeks shelter under her bed. Mr. Landlord was very fond of his cat and therefore followed the cat under the bed. Just then, Mr. Newlywed rushed into his house to escape the Cop. Mrs. Newlywed does some antics in trying to hide the Landlord under the bed. Her husband thinks she has gone crazy and tells her to help him hold the door shut so that the Cop won't get in. She gets up, and lo and behold there is Mr. Landlord as big as life. A general melee ensues where the Newlyweds and the Landlords have a terrible scrap. The Newlyweds beat up the Landlords and leave their house. When the Landlords regain consciousness, they vow vengeance. The Newlyweds are now comfortably settled in their "Dollar down and a dollar when you catch me bungalow." Their off-spring, Brownie, helps wifie in the kitchen, and hubby in the garden. He performs some of the most wonderful tricks that have ever before been seen on the screen. Their happiness is only short-lived, for the Landlords are on the job. While they slumber sweetly at night, the Landlords attach the bungalow to a horse and drive the bungalow into the ocean. The Newlyweds awaken in mid-ocean. They put a note in Brownie's collar. He swims ashore and gets the fire boat. In the meantime the villains are on shore and glorying in their sweet revenge. The lamp in the bungalow over-turns and a fire is started. The Newlyweds climb to the roof and are rescued by the fire boat where they fade out happily.
- Mr. E.Z. Mark receives a letter from the Goldrox Mining Company which persuades him to invest his savings on the promise of big profits. To this end he takes his bank book and followed by his faithful dog, Rowdy, goes to the bank and draws out his balance. Here he confides his intentions to his friend, Luke Smith, and during the conversation drops his pocket handkerchief. Walking down the street he misses it and is about to turn back when Rowdy turns the corner and lays the handkerchief at his feet. In front of the offices of the Mining Company he chats with Deacon Hardflint and in drawing out his handkerchief drops his wallet and then enters the building. Rowdy waits for his master to return for it, but seeing a stranger about to pick it up, grabs it and makes off down the street. The proprietors of the Goldrox Company are ready to skip when Mark enters and tells them his intention to invest. When, however, he comes to pay for the stock he is dumbfounded at finding his money gone. Bewailing his hard luck he runs out to search for it. Failing to find it he reports his loss to the police and then makes his way homeward, where he breaks the news to his wife. Rowdy in the meantime has evaded the pursuers and buried the wallet in the back yard. There is much wailing and gnashing of teeth in the Marks' home when suddenly his friend enters and informs him that the Goldrox Company was a fake and that the proprietors have skipped. This is poor consolation to Mark who tells of his loss. They are interrupted by the noisy entrance of the children and Rowdy, when Mrs. Mark, seeing the annoyance they have caused, hustles them out of the room. Rowdy is puzzled at such treatment and resolved to find favor, digs up the wallet and proudly lays it at his master's feet, to his great surprise and joy.

- Zou-Zou is an intelligent French poodle, the pet and companion of a rich old bachelor who is the possessor of a large fortune but who is without kin to inherit it after his death. One day he makes his will, in which he leaves all his money to the person who will take his dog and care for him after his death. He then puts the missive into the pocket in the dog's collar. One day the unfortunate man is stricken and dies suddenly, and immediately the poor animal is turned out of the place without a friend to care for him. The dog wanders around the streets until he is spied by a little urchin who is returning from market with his poor old mother. The little fellow is so attracted by the animal that he pleads with his mother to allow him to take him home, and the kind-hearted woman finally consents, but is compelled to smuggle the dog into her apartments, as the laws of the house forbid the tenants keeping animals. One day the little fellow takes the dog out and. stopping to play a game of marbles with some of his little companions, ties it to a bench. Soon two men come along and noticing the pretty dog, they cut the leash and steal away with it. They ill treat the poor beast shamefully, and so the first chance he gets the animal makes his escape and starts out to find his new home, where he realizes that he is welcome. Arriving at the house, he bolts into the place, and the poor people are overjoyed to have him back again. Since the dog's departure the unfortunate family have had lots of trouble and are now being dispossessed for failing to pay their rent. They are just about to leave the house when the little boy spies the pocket in the dog's collar and opening it takes out the will. Upon reading the missive they are overjoyed and start out immediately to gel possession of the money. The last picture shows the happy family six months later, living in a pretty home and enjoying life without care or worry, and Zou-Zou, who is the good benefactor, has his place at the table and receives as much attention and kindness as one of the happy children.
